In the research project Haunting Home I was interested in the unsaid, the unspeakable, the incomprehensible... The ghosts that buzz back and forth in the contingent. The cutting of the complex reality to find answers. Haunting Home works above all with atmospheres. Maybe they could fill the gaps, between left and right. Create connections. They provide answers because they make it acceptable that not everything can be translated into a common language. What takes the place of a language ? Maybe the ritual ? Maybe the spirits ? We are afraid of ghosts and at the same time, the thought of transcendent beings is seductive. The result is a sketchbook. A subjective archive full of texts, drawings and images. A ghost train of things and thoughts. This collection in turn is the basis for the development of the stage animation "Haunting Home".
